Craftor vs the Block Editor (Gutenberg)
Free and built in — until you need more than blocks
WordPress's own Block Editor is free, requires no plugin, and is genuinely good at what it's designed for: writing and structuring simple content with native blocks.
It's not designed to be a full visual site builder, and it shows once you need a real header/footer builder with display conditions, a popup system, a form builder with logic and payments, or dedicated WooCommerce widgets — none of which exist natively, and each requires a separate plugin (often several) to approximate.
Full Site Editing narrows this gap for themes built to support it, letting you edit templates visually — but it still doesn't include a popup builder, a form builder with conditional logic and payments, or WooCommerce-specific widgets, and only works with block themes built for it.
