Custom icons & external images
Paste an image URL, or upload your own SVG icon — no media library round-trip required.
Image and Icon controls don't require picking from your Media Library every time — both accept a direct URL as well.
External image URLs
On any Image control, paste a URL — from a CDN, another site, or anywhere publicly accessible — directly into the URL field. Craftor uses it as-is; no local media item is created.
Custom SVG icons
On any Icon control, switch away from the built-in Dashicon set to either upload your own SVG file or paste a direct URL to an icon. Uploaded SVGs are sanitized on upload — unsafe markup (scripts, external references) is stripped before the file is stored.
View, shape & color
The Icon and Icon Box widgets both have a View setting — Default, Framed (a bordered outline), or Stacked (a filled background behind the icon) — plus a Shape setting (Circle, Rounded, or Square) that only applies to Framed and Stacked. An Icon Color control sets the glyph's color directly, independent of the generic Text Color control, and works correctly across all three views.
